The Knot doesn't have a digital seating chart yet, so every Knot couple needs another tool for seating. For a free drag-and-drop chart in a browser, use WeddingWire. For a chart guests look up by QR code on the day, use Forever Farrah. On an iPhone, Zola's app has a good one. For printed place and escort cards, use Top Table Planner. For a printed sign, use Canva. You can keep your Knot website and guest list.

The Knot's guest list tracks RSVPs, meal choices and your A and B lists. But The Knot's help center says a digital seating chart is still being built. In the meantime, The Knot points couples to printable seating chart templates. That leaves the actual seating (drawing the room, filling tables and fixing conflicts) to you.

Zola's seating chart is a proper floor plan with round and rectangular tables, and it's free. But Zola's help center says it's only in the Zola iOS app, and it works best with a Zola guest list.
Choose it if you plan on an iPhone and don't mind moving your guest list to Zola.
Top Table Planner is browser-based seating software that imports from Excel and Word, tracks RSVPs and meals, and prints your seating chart, place cards and escort cards straight from the plan. It's a one-time licence with a free trial.
Choose it if traditional printed cards are part of your plan.

Export your guest list from The Knot as a spreadsheet, then import it into the tool you choose.
