Match the date to the place, not the other way round. Mediterranean summers are hot and busy; spring and early autumn are often gentler and cheaper. Indonesia's tourism site places Bali's dry season from April to September. If none of the legal processes fit your timeline, sign at home and have the ceremony anywhere. It's the most common way around religious requirements, translations and document deadlines, and guests rarely notice the difference. It also makes it easier to keep the wedding date you love.
